01 — CREATIVE
Verizon, Marvel, and Charlex approached us to design and animate UI some UI and visual effect shots order to promote hi-speed internet. The idea is that the fast internet allows the boy to mirror Tony Stark and are able to create Iron Man suit with the power of FiOS internet.
The creative goal is simply to promote two things. The new Iron Man 3 film and the FiOS fiber optics internet under 30 seconds.
02 — ART & DESIGN
We have to developed a brand new visual language that goes on the screen. Including the operating system interface, icons, to video editing and chat applications.
We want this to feel pretty much still align with how Marvel has done their Iron Man UI, so we took reference from the previous two movies. Marvel is also kind enough to share their designs file (which is pretty massive and detailed) so we got such an eye opening inspiration.
03 — MOTION
We use both 3D to animate the Iron Man Mark 34 hand. The 3D guys from Marvel provided us with a great Maya files and then we can render separate sections in layers, so then we can compose them in After Effects
