01 — CREATIVE
It's a great honor to work alongside ExxonMobil and led by two legendary directors GMUNK and David Lewandowski. Their direction on this project is pretty clearly inspired by the works done for TRON Legacy and Oblivion project they have done.
In this project, Aras Design & Motion get the chance to collaborated with them and The Mill NY to create and visualize beautiful infographics presented in a cinematic, sci-fi manner.
02 — ART & DESIGN
The design direction of this somewhat set in a near future, where we can see futuristic command control we usually seen in movies. An exxagerated yet accurate in some ways, visual presentation that sparks how technology is just as beautiful as the ocean and mother nature itself.
03 — MOTION
As this is a combination of live action footage with infographics, the design we recieved from the directors got animated in both various methods. For the ocean animation, oil rig and the visualization of the lines were done in 3D while the camera tracking, user interface animation, and then compositing were done in After Effects.
