01 — CREATIVE
Let the Photo War begin! The creative goal is to show how the phone can do many things at once on the new Samsung GALAXY Note 4. The highlight of the product mainly about sharing photos instantly while chatting/talking to your best friend.
02 — ART & DESIGN
The visual direction of this project was designed to feel as if we are looking at the user from inside the phone. Hence the visual are look reversed/backwards.
We are limited to the use of Samsung UI but we have a liberty to distribute them into 3D space to create a sense of depth. The end result is looking like a "layered" graphics on top of another and in the end they merged into one layer.
03 — MOTION
As for animation, it relies heavily on how the actual UI behaves. So we recorded the screen many times to get a sense of how the motion language works.
Later down the road, we break them down into layers and animate the parts individually by hand frame by frame. The rest is mostly a combination of 2,5D After Effects stuff!
