J&J MUSEUM

01 — CREATIVE

A quick collaboration between Aras Darmawan and Jason Guerrero going under the name of Blanket Theory. Johnson & Johnson would like a video to raise the awareness of their new virtual museum. The museum serve like a permanent storage and holds their heritage, all will be accessible through a website.

02 — ART & DESIGN

We use this dynamic red ribbon to serve as the never-ending timeline. It serves as a guide for audience while they browse around the history of J&J.

The color pallete is golden red and need to feel hygiene and also historical.

03 — MOTION

The goal is to create a one continous shot of a ribbon that never ends until it reveals the logo at the end. The challenge is that we set up the scene in such a way where the objects are placed in their corresponding timeline, only later to be revealed by our camera movement.

Since it's going to be painful to do all in 3D, we had to switch our workflow to After Effects + Element 3D. This way, when there are changes in our 3D model or content in the frame, we don't have to re-render a massive long animation.
