01 — CREATIVE
We want to tell a story through two lenses by marrying epic futurism and action sci-fi. By drawing inspiration from Starcraft, Tron: Legacy and Space Odyssey, we will introduce a futuristic-driven cinematic experience and bits of action explosiveness.
This treatment mission is to hook people instantly at first sight, making them believe they are in for a sci-fi movie trailer that spark excitement and curiosity. Without realizing, they actually on an epic “behind-the-scene” journey of menthol thread creation.
02 — ART & DESIGN
Element of ice such as frosts, haze, flakes, flurries are aimed to be visible throughout the scene.
Overall art direction needs to represent below zero degree temperature. Overall mood will be dimmed-lit and mysterious. Colour will be dominated by Shiver brand of blue and green with some occasional bright white.

03 — MOTION
The animation for this project revolves around a custom particle system and sci-fi robotic approach. We use a combination of a particle simulation for the fibers and the menthol fiber tunnel, then we hand-crafted the robotic hands movement to fit the concept of a futuristic hi-tech industrial research facility.
