Creative Director
Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Creative Director to lead and shape the creative vision of our animation, motion design, and film projects. This role is responsible for translating ideas into compelling visual storytelling, guiding the creative team, and maintaining the highest standards of craft throughout the production process.
You will work closely with producers, art director, designers, and 3D teams to develop concepts, visual language, and cinematic experiences from early development through final delivery.
Responsibilities
Lead the creative direction for animation, motion design, and film projects
Develop strong visual concepts, storytelling approaches, and creative frameworks
Guide designers, animators, and 3D artists to achieve high-quality visual results
Direct the development of style frames, storyboards, and vis-dev materials
Maintain consistent extraordinary standards across all projects
Provide creative feedback, mentorship, and leadership to the team
Collaborate with production to ensure creative vision aligns with timelines and project goals
Continuously explore new creative approaches to elevate the studio’s visual identity
Requirements
Minimum 5+ years of experience in animation, motion design, and film
Strong portfolio demonstrating visual storytelling, creative direction, and design thinking
Experience leading creative teams or directing creative projects
Strong understanding of cinematography, composition, motion, and visual narrative
Familiarity with 3D motion design & animation workflow (Cinema4D, Blender, Houdini, Unreal, etc.)
Understanding of Generative Image & Video platforms
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Ability to inspire teams and maintain high creative standards
